Directly imported by Wine Tycoon HK, this high-quality Rioja estate Sierra Cantabria was founded in 1957 & produces not only the value-priced wines but also some expensive cuvees. Being rated a score of 92 points by the famous wine critic Robert Parker, the 100% Tempranillo grape of this 2010 Reserva all comes from Sierra Cantabria's oldest vineyards & was aged 18 months in equal parts French and American oak. It shows plenty of graphite, blackcurrant, cedar wood & spice box in a complex set of aromatics. This medium-bodied wine hits the palate with loads of sweet, black cherry & blackcurrant fruit with a well-proportioned, long, opulent & rich aftertaste. This is a beauty to drink now & over the next decade.
